To reach 11:1 my scenario is the following : 1970 4V quench heads == 63cc. 0.035 cyl head gasket == 7.2 cc. Piston aligne to deck == 0 cc. Piston valve notches == 2 cc. This, gives my a perfect 11:1 comp ratio. WebJan 10, 2005 · We have also milled .020 off the deck of the block. the .030 off the heads ended up with 58cc heads. We started with 12.8:1 domed piston and will all the milling we have 14.2:1 compression. The thing to be carefull about is the valve to pistom clearance. Don't excess a tolerance of less than .100 from the valve to piston at TDC.
